Mark leads a dedicated team that closely monitors and predicts the Texas economy, focusing on metropolitan areas in real estate, finance, and banking. His mission is to distill the daily flood of headlines, reports, and data down to what we need to know to maximize our opportunities.
Mark provides valuable economic outlooks to the real estate community, equipping stakeholders with the latest data and new insight into market conditions. He is frequently quoted in newspapers and on television and is considered an expert in his field.
Having relocated to Austin during elementary school, Mark has deep roots in the community. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Mark and his wife enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren.
